Four Seasons Dalian now open in China

As the pioneer among international luxury brands to grace the cityscape in the last ten years, the brand-new Four Seasons Hotel Dalian emerges as a symbol of elegance and refinement in the heart of the Donggang harbor district.

Dalian, once a modest fishing village nestled on the Liaodong peninsula, serves as the muse for the interiors of the NBBJ Shanghai-designed edifice, crafted by the renowned international firm Hirsch Bedner Associates of Singapore. Drawing from the city's diverse heritage, particularly its profound association with railways and the romantic charm synonymous with Dalian, the design ethos of the Four Seasons Hotel Dalian pays homage to its historical narrative.

The design team ingeniously integrates the city's four distinct seasons into the hotel's ambiance, orchestrating a seamless transition through its public spaces. From the wintry allure of the lobby on the 41st floor to the vibrant hues of spring adorning event spaces and the sunny serenity of the spa and wellness center, culminating in the autumnal comfort exuding from the guestrooms and suites, each element evokes a unique facet of Dalian's character.

Echoes of train travel romance resonate throughout the hotel's design, from track-inspired motifs etched into the marble flooring of the lobby to the bespoke carpets in the guestrooms and the gracefully curved ceilings of the grand ballroom. Magnificent commissioned artworks, including captivating lighting installations, celebrate Dalian's scenic vistas and kaleidoscopic landscape.

The signature restaurants within the hotel, envisioned by Tokyo-based Strickland, draw inspiration from Dalian's cultural tapestry, offering guests authentic gastronomic journeys. From the traditional charm of Japanese cuisine at Yotsuba, the sophisticated ambiance of Saai Yue Heen serving classic Cantonese fare, and the lively market atmosphere of HUIHAI, each dining experience promises to be memorable.

Elevating the culinary experience further, the Skyline Afternoon Tea at the Lobby Lounge on the 41st floor offers unparalleled city views. Meanwhile, Harbour Bar pays homage to Dalian's maritime heritage with its vintage-inspired decor, complemented by an extensive selection of spirits and innovative cocktails.

The spa on the 38th floor offers a serene retreat with its soothing blue interiors and natural design elements. Guests can indulge in pampering treatments while enjoying panoramic vistas from the state-of-the-art fitness center and infinity-edge pool.

Beyond its luxurious amenities, Four Seasons Hotel Dalian is an ideal base for exploring the city's treasures. The concierge team curates immersive experiences, including guided tours of Changxing Seafood Market and invigorating coastal jogs along the boardwalk, ensuring guests leave with cherished memories of their stay.
